How is the public Visibility Score calculated?
It scores the half of your Visibility Score that is publicly visible: your reputation, meaning star rating and review volume, and how complete your profile is, meaning photos, opening hours, a website, a phone number, and a category. The other half, your active signals like posting freshness, services depth, review reply rate, and week-to-week consistency, can only be measured once you connect, so the public number tops out in the mid-50s on purpose.
Is this my actual Google ranking?
No. This is a health score for how active and findable your profile looks, not a guaranteed Google rank. Google ranks local results on relevance, distance, and prominence. Distance is geographic and not something any tool can change, so we leave it out and focus on the signals you can actually influence.
Do I need to connect my Google account?
